What Kind of Engine is Used in the Buick Regal Sportback?

Engines have vital importance for purchasers of vehicles. Today’s consumers are looking for power and fuel economy. The Buick Regal Sportback has an engine that satisfies both of those concerns.

The standard engine in all the Buick Regal Sportback trims except the GS trim level is a 2.0-Liter turbocharged Inline 4-cylinder motor with Variable Valve Timing. The motor generates 250-horsepower at 5400 rpm and 260 pound-feet of torque between 2000 and 5200 rpm. The 2.0-Liter engine gets 26 mpg combined. The GS trim has a 3.6-Liter V-6 engine that generates 310-horsepower at 6800 rpm and 282 pound-feet of torque at 5200 rpm. The 3.6-Liter engine is not a turbocharged motor. However, the GS motors about at a brisk pace with a great sound while getting 22 mpg combined.

At our Buick dealership, we offer all trims of the new Buick Regal Sportback.
